Stolen CB7

Well, after all this effort fixing her, I finally have her looking like she's one step from lasting a few years... and she gets stolen. State Police are positive they don't have it, so someone else towed her away. I'm assuming she'll be stripped bare and the rest scrapped. Anyone out here have any experience? I know my buddy's accord was found in relatively decent condition... they took the tranny and engine but left everything else so he was able to part it out for a few hundred in addition to the totaled out money the insurance company gave him. Right now I know I'm supposed to file a report, when I last saw it, yada yada yada. Bring proof of ownership, turn receipts in to the insurance company, etc. Anyone else have advice on what to do when your car gets jacked? Thanks.

Sorry about your car. I would file a police report, notify your insurance and hopefully you get some money back.

No advise but happened to me a few months back.
Got it back vandalised, missing $1400 wheels + tires and some other stuff.
They used to hang horse thieves.
I miss the good O'l days.

Nah thats too easy, thieves should have all their fingers cut off and exempt from any disabilities.

Towed away. *Shrug*. I'll find it in a salvage yard with the dash VIN filed off most likely. Though with the price of scrap dropping they might just dump it once its stripped...

I got lucky when mine got stolen. there was nothing missing just an empty tank of gas. It looked like it was just a joy ride. they even left some clothes and a cd case full of gospel music which i found ironic lol

Nah that wouldnt be good because theres a certain backfire to that degree its called karma. When you do dirt like that you get it back ten-fold in the end. Its the principle behind it shit catches up with you in the end. Im sure the car will probably turn up just keep checking with the police itll probably get parked and left miles away. Thne itll get a ticket and you can get updated and go back and get your shit.

Yeah... someone called and left a very garbled message... police (state and county) say it wasn't them... the major tow companies don't have it. *sigh*. Wtf?
