yep I recently got a hold of a trashed 94 accord lx
I thought it was called a cd5 but the vin says cd7?? just thought it was weird.
it's my first big project and it's pretty messed up...I'm also to be working on a 91 civic but we will sell that car real soon after it's done.
The accord on the other hand I want to keep. My dad is funding both the projects and said he only want's the money he invested back wich so far has been 700 bucks including the cars. I know he wants to sell them both but I really think I'm going to fall hard for this accord.
my plan is to sell the civic, give him all the money and tell him to let me keep the car for myself. I want both of them so I can make my cb7 in to a DD while I make the CD7? in to a beast. When I'm satisfied with the results I will start driving the CD and will start beasting out the CB.
of course If I go through with this I'll have to fund the work for both accords since I won't be selling them but i think I can handle it.
The interior on the CD is totally fucked. It has no keys and the ignition box or whatever you call it is all guts you need a screw driver to turn it on. (all the papers are legit. I know it sounds like a stolen car) there's minor front end damage and the motor might be FUBAR but I'm not sure yet I shall see.
I'm already gutting the interior. I'll try to get pics up soon.
oh and question:
how much would it cost to go to a honda dealer and have them fix the ignition box behind the stering wheel?...with factory keys and all...
that's the only thing I want the dealer to take care of.
I can figure out the rest.
