So heres the story...I got pulled over by CHP like about few months ago for emissions. the ticket that the CHP gave me said it was a correctable ticket and the ticket had this sticker on the back saying telling me where i could get the ticket smog'd or if i have any problems to call a number. The CHP also mention'd how i could get the car smog'd and what to do and all the procedures. the carbon copy ticket i have says it is correctable but when i went to the court house on the due date it said that it was not correctable and i was like wtf??? and i asked for a court hearing. I asked for the copy of the ticket the court house has and you can literally see that the copy they have had "Yes" crossed off and circled "NO". The cop didnt even mention he made a mistake in writting the ticket or even mention'd changing the ticket at all. And on top of that!! i even went to get it smog'd so i paid all the fee's of the smog and i have the papers that says i passed smog! So if anyone has some thought of what would happen or what i should do because i have a court hearing tomarrow and i just want to know if cops can do that and if it is illegal for a cop to change the ticket without my consent or atleast notifying me because i signed the ticket as a correctable not a non-correctable.

The copy he gave you stating that it's correctable is enough proof IMO. If he changed it after the fact, no one is to blame except for the ignorance of the officer.
