i was just thinking, what trim accord would be faster with an h22 swap? a dx, lx, or ex ?

i would think ex is heavier since it has a sunroof, and spoiler and other things

DX is the lightest. So, I'd assume it'd be the quickest if all 3 had the same power, torque, driver, etc.

      2001 Honda CR-V SE RT4WD
      2005 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71

Fair enough. Gear ratios, drivers, and traction all come into to play. But this is a pretty straightforward question.

you failed to specify... faster in a straight line? around a road course? in a straight line lighter is better, no question, so dx.

around a track? all things being equal the ex has rear disc brakes and a rear sway bar but it is a bit heavier.

They all weigh prety much the same. Unless youve done some good weight reduction, your cars not seeing the low side of 3000lbs anytime soon.

Yes, 3000. You ARE part of your cars weight. Maybe 2900-2950 on a good day.

<- car weighs 3160 with my 150lb ass, stereo and crap in the trunk.
