That company is using pictures of my friend's car and he isn't even sponsored by them. Their reasoning for using it was because when his car was in fast and furious they were the company that was handling the cars, so they said they have the rights to use the pictures he submitted for anything they want.

Did he sign off on that? He should look over his contract and see what it entails... he could have a case against them, if he wants to be a bitch. I probably would!



I was sponsored briefly by Fushigi Race Engineering... or almost, anyway. I didn't like the terms, and the guy got really shady shortly after I got my information... then he "closed shop" and disappeared. I'm not really even sure the company was legit... or that it even truly existed. The only product we ever saw from "them" (assuming it was more than one person, not just Mark sitting at the computer in his mom's basement) was a modified stock shifter. One that yeamans17 copied easily and made/sold in his spare time.

I also had a few sponsor offers from one of those sponsorship websites... They DO work if you play the game... I just didn't want to play the game. They're more for show and audio than performance, and I'm not anal enough to have a show car!



I could probably get sponsored if I chose to get serious with my car. I'm sure any of the merchants on this site would willingly sponsor my car, seeing as it would be fairly high-profile even if the performance wasn't all that spectacular, just based on the fact that I own this site!

Technically, I guess you could say that CB7tuner.com is sponsored by all the companies that advertise and do business here. Never really thought about it that way, but it's pretty much true.
