    theives-too many, hondas-0

my co-workers cb7 was broken into, they didnt take anything except some change. didnt even take disk changer.

this was 200ft from where my car was stolen.

and in a secured shopping mall parking lot, im scared for my cb7...

when does it stop? well, back to carrying weapons...

dayam that's rough. when i was robbed awhile back, they took my change too but along with my headunit and air freshener. i always got mad at why they would take my change and my air freshener. my backpack, CDs, tach, shift knob were all still there. thieves over here are selective i guess .

i feel you should avoid that location from now on. it doesn't seem secure enough to me. either that or stay in another car or hideout while your car is parked there and when someone suspicious comes, jump out and beat their ass!

This is getting outta hand......Honda's and Acura's up here in Nova Scotia seen to be the prime target these days. It seems like at least once or twice a week I am hearing about something getting stolen.......I am part of a local import site up here and it is getting so bad that we added a "Stolen" forum to the board

If I ever caught someone breaking into my CB, you'd sprobably see me on the local news for vehicular homocide as I'd run his ass over and 'accidentally' back over him 8 to 10 times.

you guys still haven't realized, honda/acura are the most frequently broken into cars.

step your security up, tint the windows (crackheads can't see inside), get a 2way pager alarm (works great if your < 1500ft away), air horns relayed to alarm, club/foot club, cutoff switch.

especially in cali man, at least ny is a little less wild.

problem is, where i work...i leave my car out of sight for 5+ hours.

i wish i could park it within sight, but holiday season is coming and parking at the shopping mall is really hard to find in the afternoon.

im def. getting my alarm ASAP, i already have the club and autoloc.

oh and the ultimate anti-theft is having no deck but a bunch of wires sticking out of that area so it looks like someone already broke into it

but tint doesnt really do jack shit, cali has rules against front tint and stuff. i think the best thing to do is keep the interior completely stock, and have NOTHING inside. all i have inside is my starbucks aprons, club and autoloc...

Tint your windows 5%, I can sell you a nice alarm with a pager.. so it will let you know when your alarm is going off and which part of the car was touched.

Tinting the windows will make it so they can't see what you have in there.. and do the rear door handle conversion where you don't have locks in the front, and just use keyless entry to unlock the car.

Those 2 things alone will help your car be more safe in your area.

                      true....

duh...every insurance co lists hondas & acuras as top stolen cars every year since the mid 80s...especially older ones like cb7s ans integras, cuz they are easier to take, and more popular in urban areas
