how do you get the ps3 off of hdmi settings

i was playing my ps3 in HD and now im tryiin to go back to regular tv but the screens black and inop. it tells how to take it off HD settings in the manual but i have misplaced it at the moment. any help will be appreciated

x2 it resets all video/audio settings to normal..
