Anyways, I had -3.0 degrees of camber up front before I raised the car last month and installed a camber kit..I drove like that for almost 3 years, and my tire wear was pretty even..Mind you my toe was set to 0, and I rotated the tires once a month..But never had a problem with camber wear until the front wheel bearings started giving up on me
I used the same reasoning as you and thought the driver side gained negative camber, but I was wrong too. Once the driver gets in the driver side gains positive camber and the passenger side gains negative camber.

A bad wheel bearing is a true tire killer. The tire I posted on the front page was created after having a custom spec alignment done and testing out the car in a local canyon before going to the track. We ran something over on the way home and blew out 2 nt-01, bent a tie rod end, broke the axle, and destroyed a wheel bearing. The axle and tie rod end was replaced, but we didn't know about the wheel bearing until the car was actually at the track already. We ran it anyways and took our time to fix it which resulted in that tire. That was a pretty expensive track event to attend since so much had to be replaced before the event.

When I had my CB I figured most sticky tires only last 10-15k anyways and my car normally wears them out from 10-15k, so I just accepted it. Now that I don't drive a honda anymore 10k is completely unacceptable because my tires no longer cost $350 installed a set (at most) they're about $500+ now for ok tires.

Worthwhile sticky tires won't cost $350 anyway! The tires I'm running on my Fit right now cost $230. Each.

But yeah, if you're going to beat up on the tires, and make sure they're replaced when they start to wear, then it's not bad. Negative camber aids handling to some extent (but it decreases the car's ability to launch.)

Most of the kids on here that think /---\ is cool generally drive their car everywhere... bass bumpin in the back, hoochies in the passenger seat, they bois in da back seat... not paying attention to tire pressure, ripping around like they drive a Ferrari... and expecting a treadlife of 30,000 miles. No matter how many times they see "check the inside of your tires for wear", they'll read "as long as your toe is good, you're cool" and believe it... and never check the insides.

Trust me... it is downright scary when your tires don't hold the ground when you need to stop! I've had it happen twice... once, I didn't hit the guy in front of me. The next time... well... my 09 Fit needs a new front bumper (and that's not even camber wear... just natural 48,000 miles without a rotation because I popped a back tire wear!)

I'm currently running -2.25 camber up front and -1.8 rear, toe is set at 0 all around....Trying to save my RE-01Rs until at least the end of this summer

          Angle.

          And yes, perhaps.

Toe in for the rear adds grip. I dont really want that.

          I'll send some.

Logic just dictated the main reason I dont have wear issues like you guys is due to the fact my tires are stretched and not bubbled. Think about it.

Doesn't change the fact that the flat surface that SHOULD be in contact with the road is angled... so the inside of your tires is still getting the majority of the contact.

Yes, but, my tires have half of the movement yours do, think about it some more.

What tire are you running that cost $230 each? I got falken azenis RT615 for about 290 a set back when I had my cb. The azeni is a fairly standard every day tire with a little extra grip. On my SC I have yokohama s. drives currently because of the oem tire size my selection was limited.

its funny you bumped this, i actually found out what the problem was, the tires were rubbing on a spot in my fender, on both sides, in the same spot.

doesn't do it anymore, i wonder what the deal was
