I am still thinking of bouncing out of NYC. A few people have suggested Australia.

Pros:
- Beautiful cities
- Great weather + beaches
- GF is totally with it
- Not in a recession
- AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME car scene (all types of JDM dream cars)
- Most important, apparently they are BEGGING for engineers (which I am)
- Close to Ghana where my dad is retiring
- Aussie Pies!!!!!

Cons:
- Far from the US + my friends (who cares)
- Racism? (but I know black people who went + loved it)
- ???????

This would be an awesome change for me I think. My girl is excited about it too but I don't care, this is for me (she wants to live in CA, thumbsdown)

New Zealand is offering a lot of jobs. LOTR was filmed there, etc. I'd recommend that. You can also look into the JET programme. My Fiance is in that. Good pay, we have a free apartment, living in Japan, etc. Good deal

Its funny u mention this because me and the wifey have been talking about relocating to a different country and its been narrowed down to Canada and Australia(her pick). the police actually teamed up with the other driver and made it my uncle's fault. not sure what the outcome was but this was in sydney.
