He is in a coma right now in the hospital. I'm kinda scared to go into work now. BTW i work at safeway, where thousands of people come and go all day, so who knows how he got it.

not really. I might go get tested just in case, i hear there is a 10 day grace period with this virus.

Definitely go get tested. Don't even think about it! 10 day grace period or not, you don't want to wait. Plus, it doesn't take turns... if you have it, you may have had it for 7 days already...


I wonder how he got it. As far as I know, it's been pretty well contained on US shores. Being in a supermarket, I wonder if it managed to come in a load of produce or something. If so, Safeway has stores all across the country. We have them here (under the name Genuardi's, but still Safeway)

unfortinally the unemployment rate is high in this area of Oregon it's like 12 percent , so it's not that easy to just quit and find another job/

SARS came from cats i thought. I've been reading up, and it says it is very hard to catch, you have to kiss, or have someone sneeze in your mouth or eye ball pretty much. There hasnt been a SARS case forever from what i know

I worked with a girl named Sara at Bennigan's... the whole SARS scare was going on then, and she changed her nametag to say SARS. It was great.
