trying to get a good price on a new alternator, autozone quoted me 139.99 i'm hoping i can get it cheaper, my car wont start, and i just put a new battery in, so i'm thinking it's the alternator, cause it started when i first put the battery in, now i'm not getting any power again.

I put a new battery in yesterday, and it ran all day...then at night i tried to start it after it was sitting for a couple hours, it made a click sound when it turned the key, then i got no power, and nothing after that, no sound when i turned the key, power locks didnt work, lights wouldnt turn on...then after it sat overnight, i got power again, lights and everything worked, powerlocks, but when i turned the key it clicked, then no power and all that again.
also when i'm driving, my lights were kinda flickering like they were gonna die, and so was the light on my spedometer thingy, the whole light in there would kinda flicker.
so is it an alternator, and how much would that cost, and is it hard to install myself?
i need this fixed by tomorrow, i only have $50 on me, but i can take back the battery and get another $50...then maybe borrow some money from a friend. -
battery connects tight? and this isnt for ot.
