My CB9 was totaled today :( *PICS*
yup today (8/20/09 at 6:30pm) the wagon was killed by an old man in a red 2004 toyota corolla/camry. I was driving down a 3 lane road. on the far right lane. when the the old fart pulled up to the edge of a store entrance. he was looking to get into my lane. now I know he saw me cuz I have my fogs & low/high beams on when I drive. also I saw him look at me. but when Im about to cross that store entrance he decides he wants to turn now & rams my car at the front right wheel. he hit me so hard my car came off the ground a bit. I also got pushed into the a dude in a late model chevy cavalier who was in the next lane over. the dude in the toyota that hit me bounced off my car & went flying right back into the side walk on the right.
the damage to the red toyota was that his left front steel rim was mangled. his front bumper, front left light, & mirror came off & his fender was mangled too. sense he hit me with his bumper, hes car didnt get totaled.
the damage to the silver chevy was that his whole right side was badly scratched. my left mirror also punched a deep dent onto his rear door. & his mirror was hanging
the damage to mines was bad!
on the left side, the fender is pushed in. the fender liner too. the front corner light which is the rare ones with reflector is crushed. the mirror is broken off & hanging by the wires. also I have scratches every where!
on the right side, the fender is pushed in. the torsion bar broke at the lower control arm. the inner tie rod broke at the middle. so my tire turned & dragged 3-4 car lengths away till it stopped its self. lucky I managed to put it in neutral when I got hit. the front right door seems to be pushed back/down about an inch. also the right mirror, corner light, & wheel lug cover broke off. but the biggest thing is that the right fender structural part of the chassis tore off the firewall. & the firewall in the right wheel well got pushed into the ECU area. but the car still runs.
