    Jewelery Dilemna

I'll start off by saying that i know jewelery is not a place to cheap out.

However, Im on a timeframe and wont exactly have as much as id like, so im having to really look and find some good deals.

    The facts:
--Im looking for a ring for a special lady-friend.
    --White Gold ban.
    --3-stone setup.
    --Size 6.5
    --$600-$800 range.

I got lost when i tried finding the difference between cuts and names, and weights and clarity and all that jazz.

I know id prefer a more square-topped diamond, as itll be in a 3-stone setup.
    I found a --"14K 1/2ct TDW Princess 3-stone ring"-- for like $615shipped

I really dont wanna shop Pawn Shops as sizes are hit-or-miss.
    Wal-Mart, Target and Sam's are a no-go.
Macy's and JCPenney's were no help either.

Local jewelers are very expensive and only want to offer financing. I cant do that, and i know thats probably the one thing keeping me from getting a more expensive piece.

The 14K 1/2ct piece i mentioned above, was found on Overstock.com.
So long as there's a return policy or one i can purchase or some kind of insurance, i dot mind, but im still iffy about ordering jewelery online. If it means getting a deal, then i'll do it. The ring can always be sized later, but she says she's a dead-on 6.5, so...

    The Lowdown:
--Im looking for the best bang for under, or around, $800.
--Anything i should look for or be aware of as far as clarity, cut, sizing, etc?
--Has anyone had any luck or know anyone who's had luck ordering online?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

the diamond quality isn't as great on those overstock rings, for 800 bucks honestly you're not looking at anything fancy. Why can't you wait a little longer to save more if you don't mind me asking. Some jewelry stores also have layaway plans and credit they can give you for something nice you know.

The timeframe im on will only allow me $600-$800. If i can find something in the $900-$1000 range and theyll let me make payments on that, then id do it.

I just cant do financing because i have crappy credit.

Most jewelry stores offer layaway plans, so maybe you can drop 600, then keep making small payments until you reach the price of the ring.

wait, save, do it right the first time. its nice to save up and make a purchase rather than buy something important like this using credit. if you cant afford it wait, simple as that

                    Will do Dean.

It's complicated and a long story, but money has been tight and im just now able to start putting back for it. My delivery date[how cleverly punny] is October 2. Ill only be able to come up with $600-$800 by then.
