The seller sounds like a doucher... but the car looks good for $500. If that dent on the rear is the only major flaw... that IS fixable. It doesn't look kinked. For that price, it could come without an engine and it'd be fair.

If you have the $500, the room, and the time... GET IT! Restore that sucker and have a classic... or sell it for a profit.
