New trend?

I've noticed this alot around my area. You know cars that have their tailights extending onto the trunk, such as our CB7s, right? Well, it seems at least once a week I see a car like this rocking stock outer lights while having altezzas as the inner sections, and vice versa.

I just can't figure out if it is some new trend that hasn't caught on yet, or if people in my area can't afford a full set of altezzas. Either way, it's bothering me.

I haven't seen this around where I live. Maybe it's their way of trying to make their car different lol.

i see stock/all clear combos around here a bit..

whenever i see that I assume the owner broke the stock tail and replaced with altezza or vice versa.

I have clear outers and stock inners,only because they didnt make the clears for coupes.Of course I painted my inner lights

My favorite is the guy with 9091 outers and 9293 inners.

I thought this too, but why would someone in their right mind only do part of the set?

Wait. I think I just figured it out. People are lazy.

Maybe theyre in the midst of covering up the inner lights or bondo-ing over them, and they see no point in putting in the clear inners.

I've seen two cars in recent memory that had altezzas on the left, and an OEM light on the right...

I should do that. Put a stock 92 on the outer left, then a 9091 red clear, then a stock 9091 inner on the right side and a 9293 red clear on the outer right light. Totally fuck it up
