Probably the most over used, and 99% of the time not used properly word in the English dictionary that has seemed to be getting more and more popular in the last couple of years. Here's an example of what random is: If I put 100 numbers into a hat, I close my eyes and I pick the number 7, that is random. Here's an example of what random is not: If you go out with your friends and meet other people, those other people are not random. You did not randomly choose to meet those people, unless of course you closed your eyes and pointed into a group of people who were randomly selected in the first place.
Sorry, this is just a rant, a random thought<<<again thoughts are usually not random, but this sentence is used over and over again. End rant/
