Autotuner is a plugin that needs another program to run. You're going to need an audio editing program, like Mixcraft, Audacity, or GarageBand (mac).

I've played around with it, and my best results were when I locked tune to C flat, if I remember correctly. Then again, it's different for the voice you're working with; and the vocal range you're aiming for.

I know the basics of using it, I have Mixcraft 3 and I had the autotune vst plug in but it was the trail version what im asking is there a way I can get it or If one of my fellow tuners would be so kind to maybe email me thiers?

I use Autotune in Pro Tools sometimes. Try out these settings

Set the scale to major and the key to whatever key you are using



retune speed - 0
scale detune - 0 cents, 440.0 hertz
humanize - 0
natural vibrato- 0.0


rate -.1
onset delay - 0
variation - 0
onset rate - 0
pitch amount - 0
amplitude amount - 30
formant amount - 100

And your not going to sound like T-Pain unless your voice already sounds like T-Pain

I have to warn you though, it's very hard to use. I bought it a while ago and it took me very long to learn it. I had to buy a DVD just to learn how to use it proper. It does so much though. It makes Autotune look like a toy. You can actually record instruments like a guitar for example and then change the notes AFTER they are recorded in. It's an amazing program.
