postin a thread without a sig

i was wondering how u can post a thread without having your sig on it.....
like in the AOM nominations i noticed that in there there are no sigs.

when replying, uncheck the box that says "Show your signature"

The AOM nomination instructions actually tell you how to do it, I believe.
