Switching Hosts this week (everyone read)

well, this morning i woke up and noticed that i couldn't view the message board from my computer (page just kept loading). i checked with a few guys from the board, and some could get on - while others couldn't. i called up my host, thinking it was them, but they gave me a bunch of BS. i still think this problem is connected to them.

at any rate, i'm disatisfied with the service and plan i have with my current host - and this problem brought it back to my attention. so i bought some yahoo small business hosting today...

they offer 4 GB of HD space and 75 GB of bandwidth for the same price per month as my current host. i only get 100 MB of HD space and 25 GB of bandwidth with my current host. plus, yahoo offers 24/7 tech support and is, of course, going to be more reliable than the smaller company i'm currently with. i mean... yahoo is no small company.

i will be switching over all of my files to the new server tonight or tomorrow - and there are a few things that will take 24-48 hours to complete (and are now in pending status). this means that the board and website will go down for a day or two.

although you guys will suffer 2 days without the website, this is better in the long run. cb7tuner's database is getting bigger, and a bigger website demands more space and reliable hosting. let's just get it out of the way now.

just don't freak out when you see a temporary page up.

I use Yahoo Webhosting for my internet site and I love it!! Things transfer over pretty fast..let me know if you need any help, although I doubt you will...
