Patients may now be able to legally obtain their medicine, following state laws, without fear of federal prosecution.

This is a step in the right direction!!

Atty. Gen. Eric H. Holder Jr. said today the Obama administration is officially reversing the federal stance on medical marijuana and ordering authorities not to arrest or charge any users and suppliers who conform to state laws.

In guidelines issued today, Justice Department officials are telling prosecutors and federal drug agents that they have more important things to do than to arrest people who obey state laws that allow some use or sale of medical marijuana.

I still dont like the smell of it and i dont like when people use it for non medical reasons. We had a guy high and drunk when he slammed his honda accord into a civic.

Honestly it was prolly the "drunk" part that cause him to wreck.

I havent ever slammed my car into anything while high. let alone get into a fender bender.

That makes no sense. Cocaine and meth kill people and make people do things they can't control, Marijuana don't. If anything, you would get more "aware" of things on weed.

once you smoke it you understand why so many would rather it not be criminalized. plus neg. help effects are way less damaging to the body compared to even the everyday soda. alcohol is absolutely terrible for your health.

I've been smoking on and off for about 4 years now...im 19. I started young. lol

when i smoke, i mellow out and make sure i do shit the right way. I dont rush through things.

There is a medical marijana clinic in SD. They even have a commercial thats playing locally. It surprised the crap out of me when I saw it.

I've totaled three cars drinking. I've never been in a single wreck being high. I don't smoke anymore because I need to be clean to get a job. But from the time I was 14 until about 21 I smoked daily if not hourly and ended up getting 1 charge. Within the first 2-3 years of me drinking I had about 10 charges.
