weird though. i've used verizon towers for about half a year now and i'm up and down mountains, tunnels, intestates, abandoned roads, everywhere and i've never lost signal.....

and with at&t i got so many dropped calls :shrugs:

That's just a pretty shallow tactic. Does anyone remember the lawsuit that AT&T had on Verizon on their misrepresentation of of 3G coverage? Verizon was showing "3G" coverage but not "voice coverage" so Verizon technically has the larger 3G network and the suit just drew that point out even more.

Since then I've heard some pretty ludicris stuff from AT&T, stuff like "things going for AT&T" and then they list the apple I phone, and their 3G network. Then they list "things going for Verizon" then they say "well, their name starts with the letter V."

Both companies have their pros and cons, and stating the I-Phone as an advantage makes me want to hurl. It's like saying Honda is better than Toyota because the (lets just use the CB for an example) accord has an F-series engine, and you can't get that in any Toyota. Duh you can't get that in Toyota but that's not to say all Toyota's are bad or come with less superior engines.

              There's my rant. lol

i dont understand this map, you basically have to be a person that travels everywhere in order to use this nationwide coverage. everyone around me is within driving distance and anyone else i can use skype or internetz *shrugs*

I work at a metal building and coverage kinda sucks when it comes to Verizon. With the iPhone on AT&T, I get two or three bars. Although, with Verizon, 3G coverage's alot better compared to AT&T.

AT&T is over rated, and is accordingly over priced. Shitty customer service. Call quality is OK. Nothing that has made me go "OMG NO WAI" like my sprint phone.

At first i was very skeptical about sprint. I had heard quite a few negative comments. But i was running out of options. But now that I have this phone. I will NEVER go back to AT&T. I LOVE SPRINT! Sprint has made me say "wow" on SEVERAL occasions. From coverage areas that i've NEVER had with AT&T, t-mobile, OR verizon; to much more faster, reliable mobile web than AT&T.

the iphone is just a toy. A trendy novelty. a fancy thing to go "oooh and aahh" at.

Ive had T_mobile for years and ive been in several situations where i was in the middle of nowhere or somewhere where nobody else had signal, except for me.

But now, in my current house/location, i cant get signal for shit. I have to suck off the wi-fi.

And what if you have an iPhone flashed over to t-mobile or some other company?? Is this coverage that the iPhone has or coverage that AT&T provides, regardless?

It could just be the ara people are in. In the bay area, I have never had a signal problem. And I've had AT&T for over 5 years now. Before that, I had tmobile for about 2 days, and it was horrible. And before that I was stuck on a contract with sprint, which sucked as well. Although I'm sure coverage has improved drastically in the past years.

I for one will never which away from my ability to use the iPhone. Weird saying that, since I have always been anti-apple. But I have gone through many phone, including two other full touch phones, and by far, I still prefer the iPhone. I love all the gadgets and unnessesaries.

Btw, no need to worry about the iPhone map. I made it up. It was just a joke playing off all the bullshit commercials.
