there is a posibility....i have seen a few bad headers but not like that. the edges are to straight for it to be broken.. it looks like someone cut it right in the middle of the welds.... something fishy is going on probably

Weird. The guy who made the thread on HT I know very well. I take my cars to him for alignments and other maintenance. A trusty mechanic.

This is the shop he owns:
          www.revlinemotorsports.com

I don't think he is that shady to cut the manifold. He's a legit, honest guy.

Uhhh yeah that weld looks cut. Had it split, I highly doubt it'd look like that. Anyway, like everyone else, shit happens. I get that this isn't a $60 ebay header, but unfortunately a lot of the guys on HT are harsh as shit, and when one person has a problem with a product malfunctioning or breaking etc. they all talk shit about that particular seller, or manufacturer, and decide to start little boycott clubs. I've seen it many times on there.

            life is good.

I can pretty much say it was not cut...

A crappy weld will tear and crack because at some point it will be fused decently.
A terrible weld will fail like that because there would be no penetration at any point.

                omg thank you
i was wondering how long people with no welding experience would ramble on about something they have no idea about.

and if someone who does weld said it was cut, slap whoever taught you to weld.

you can't really get good penetration on the header because it probably affects the flow of the exhaust gases coming out from the head.

that's probably why it's welded so thin.

i stated i had no welding experience. but honestly dude the average person that looks at that will think the same thing. that bitch looks cut. usually there would be some material from the so called weld left over and it would just be a break. but hey i have never seen anything welded break in my life so i have really no clue at all what im talking about.
