    A good Video Card?

    Hey guys, I'm looking for a killer video card for my computer...but one that won't break the bank too much...any suggestions? I play a few games from time to time...but mainly I am interested in one that will give me the best quality DVD playback...thanks for any imput...and HAPPY HOLLIDAYS!
    If you can't hear it before you can see it...It's not worth it.

      Computer Illiterate me...can you literally take any video card you want and put it in, or are there system requirments? Thanks for the imput Adam...I'll look into it for sure!

        I was always a big fan of the ATi All-In-Wonder cards because you can hook EVERYTHING up to them and they have really great graphics as well.

            my geforce 4 does just a fine job of putting all my stuff on the big screen tv.

              If you plan on playing any games made in the last 6 months the way they were meant to be played, the card i recommended is excellent.

                my friends 9700 w/ aftermarket themaltake heatsink and custom built memory heatsinks run hella well. has ran fine with every game including Doom 3 and halo on top quality settings.

                  What he said. For the money, I still think it's the best deal going right now. Plays everything I wanna play, including HL2.
