well, i didnt buy it for the looks.... that's what my A0751h is for :P




anyways, this new machine is SUPER speedy. by far the fastest computer I have owned. I couldn't have gotten a better deal on a similarly spec'd laptop WITOUT the multi-touchscreen! as far as I know, this is the only other multi-touch laptop available. closest thing to it is the tablet notebook's with the swivel screens, but those lack in specs and are generally double the price of what I paid.

I read many reviews, and haven't seen many negative points, so I had to swoop it up.

Set me back about $770 from Amazon.

seems silly to me that they are using 667 ram instead of 800. I mean it seems to be running just fine, but why skimp on the memory? oh well awesome deal on that, envious of the touch screen. My gateway has very similar specs, but .2" smaller screen and no touchscreen for 450 at big lots. and even though it says gateway it's a emachines.

I've been a huge fan of Acer for many years now... never had a problem, always satisfied (except with the performance of the netbooks, but that's limited by those crappy Atom processors)

i like the atom processor.. as long as it's the 330 paired with nvidia graphics. the 230 is a little weak but worked fine for the office folk i installed it for. I built a few of the msi winds with a MSI board which had the atom 230 and it installed great, but is a little weak with no upgrade options. but it was cheap and saved TONS of space. office people were happy for the upgrade.

my a0751h has the n270 with the intel gma500 graphics.

utter garbage as far as video performance goes.
