    custom hub...

So this building burned to the ground down the street from me, and my buddy and I were checking out the damage and found some cool stuff from the 50's and older.

I found this old ass American (not good with American brands from the 60's-ish) truck with a Superior Performance Products "500" steering wheel attached. It definitely needs some lovin...the wood is burned off and the chrome is too.

I think if I polished it up again and had it re wrapped it would be a baller ass steering wheel in my cb. Only problem is a hub.

Have't spent much time brainstorming (busy day at work), but the only problem I see myself running into with a custom hub is the splines for the steering shaft.

I also could buy a hub off ebay for any random steering wheel for the cb and make an adapter flange for the steering wheel as well I believe.

    Any ideas?

It is not worth trying to sell, and I just like the way it looks.

Here is some pictures of a very similar model. The only difference is mine has three holes on each wheel support as opposed to the 4 pictured.

      amen!

thats why i want it on my whip.

but its fricken tiny in diameter. that combined with my lack of power steering will equal a large increase in muscle mass though lol

If the center is as pictured, then just get a momo hub and have the center on the wheel drilled to the 6 bolt pattern of the hub.
