    My new ride

Ever since the cb7 got totaled, ive been looking for a new ride and this is what i found. 1991 Prelude si that is undergoing a h22 swap right now. I LOVE this car, it is very nice and has a nice sporty feel compared to the cb7. I still love my long gone accord but i had to move on. Heres some pics, hope u like it.

I bought the car for 500 because the crank shaft was tore to hell so i got a good deal on that. It has coil overs and is raised up in the front so we could get it on a tow truck. Its suppose to be as low in the front as it is in the back. The h22 swap is a lot more difficult in this car cause u have to make custom mounts and its a tight fit, but its all coming allong good.

Man, it's a shame you're all the way in NM! I would love to see that thing in person!

I wonder how it will handle the extra weight of the H22... Since B series swaps are common in the older Accords (and I assume Preludes because of that...) I would think an old Prelude like that might react to the H22 like a Civic would. Hopefully it won't be too nose heavy! If so, invest in some good suspension parts and you'll be good. I don't think the aftermarket is all that great for the 3G Prelude, but you should be able to find enough for it.

go to www.preludepower.com . Theres tons of 3rd gen ludes on there with swaps. They seem to have no problem with it, its just a harder install than most swaps and they r very uncommon.
