I ride my mom's Yamaha V-Star a lot, but it's only a 650. My dad has a Kawasaki Vulcan 1500....that shit is gnarly to ride. I've only done it twice because he wants the power to himself.

Dunno....I was going to pick the car up from the shop and do the clutch myself but he was about to start on it yesterday.

He called me about 945 this morning saying he dropped the tranny last night and the clutch looks fine, but he is going to do some tests to see if the clutch releases and if it does, then it is something inside the tranny that's fucked. Soooooo, just waiting to hear from him on that.

I probably won't trade for the bike. One reason being it isn't worth what the car is worth and two, it's always raining here....knowing my speed demon ass, I'll kill myself

I say don't do the trade. Gixxers are everywhere, not everyday you see a nicely done 1g dsm.(atleast around here anyways) As far as the dsm having issues....would it really be a dsm without? lol I know mine has been a shitshow since I got her but when she goes, she goes, and it's worth it.

That's the thing with DSM's...they can be a problem, but when they're running right, they RUN. My whole situation with this car is that I didn't even have it 2 days before it went to shit on me....wish I still had my 91. That was a beast
