iPhone/iPod touch 4.0 OS

It just came out today. What are your thoughts on it?

Its only for second gen devices. So iphone 3g and ipod touch 2.

Today? Thats been out for a year LOL

Im really happy how pandora works as the ipod app now ( You need to update pandora for it to work like this )

So now pandora runs when im in another app and it even gives me the little play icon in the top right corner.

No, a couple weeks ago. I got my phone unlocked and jailbroken with 2.something. It was acting up, so I upgraded. No more unlocked and jailbroken phone... but I think i might get the 4G anyway.

I recently just got 3.1.3 on my 2007 iPhone.

Will be getting the ip4 in August.

btw, i still have unlimited data plan for being an OG iPhone customer.
The cut off date was Jun. 7th.
Now its capped at 2GB, anything after that you're screwed.

There is a jb for the 3g that'll allow multitasking, I think... but it'll suck cause it doesn't have much memory. I'm gonna wait a couple days until a new jb is released that's compatible with the 3gs' new bootrom. And one that'll run on windows.


For those that upgrade firmware now, please share your thoughts. I'm very curious if it'll live up to the hype. Or if it's just a bunch of bells n whistles that nobody really cares about.

At least I hope I didn't screw myself over when I upgraded my firmware, and it re-did my plan...

I like it so far I really like the multitasking bar when you press home twice it brings up everything you've opened and I like te wallpaper option now, and the playlist creator makes it tons easier to switch around songs on the fly when I'm listening to em in my cb with my iPod accessory
