    DDM Hids

Okay, so DDM used to sell HID "kits."
Im a noob to HIDs, so, do I need to buy the wiring harness also?
It used to be just one price, now theres a bunch of things to buy once you get on the page with the HIDs.

    all you need
You don't have to like what he did, but I would hope that you can appreciate the time, money and love that went in to the build. If you can't, you're not really an enthusiast, just another dumb kid with a car.-visualpoet

And to add to the matter, their 55watt 3000k bulbs will rock your socks off any time of the night.

You wont be able to see with something like that. My friend had 12000k on his Integra and I could literally see better with halogens. I would get 6k at the max and you will still have the blue you want and still good light.

          5000k lows + 3000k highs = WET DREAM.

I second this. This is the exact setup I'm ordering.

Agreed. The light is scattered. No sharp cutoff, just a flood of light. It's obnoxious. A quality projector makes it SO much better. icedplaya123 has TSX projectors in USDM housings, and it is truly a beautiful sight.

You might be able to get away with the highs being nothing but a flood of light... but don't do it to the lows.

Also, an auxiliary harness, if not included, is always a safe thing to get. Running HIDs through the stock wiring without having an auxiliary harness going to the battery can burn out your stock wiring. People say it's safe now, but the harness costs about $15 from www.3bspecialties.com. Personally, I don't see a point in taking a risk. If you don't need it, then it's harmless overkill. If you DO need it, it's a hell of a lot cheaper and easier than replacing your stock wiring harness if it burns out!

Ive been thru so many hid kits ive lost count.....from 10k down to 4k....ran them in stocks, jdm 1pc, jdm 1pc w/ h4 adapter/cutoff and in my e46 retro so I can speak from experience.

Dont waste your time thes pnp kits in your stock halogen lights, waste of time and money and its dangerous for other drivers.

I refuse to put one on my CG until I do a retrofit. Once your start with HIDs you will yurn for more output which will only be provided by a proper retro.

I would get projectors man, just look at the amount of light you get outta them if you do it properly. These are TSX projectors from an Acura

55w completely defeats the point of HIDs
