6th gen accord help.

Hey guys well little problem on our 99 accord it bogs when the gas is applied. we replaced the IACV and the Knock Sensor which led to this. we also put the old hardware back in with the same results. I have little experience with a 6th gen. I don't know what could be wrong now since those were the only 2 things replaced. Well if someone with a little insight on this or some help would be great.

could be having problems with vtec, it turns on around 2000 rpm, any check engine lights?

Only light on is the maintenance required light. nothing else is lit up. it idles fine, but when you first step on it you have to do it extra slow til past 1k at least then u can stomp on it all you want. and when you let off it drops almost to zero then comes up then wants to die.

when is the last time you changed the spark plugs? later.

Spark plugs? Then move on to the head... My 90 did the same thing. Come to find out the head was destroying itself haha

I don't remember when the spark plugs were changed ill probably go look at them now cause this car needs to be road ready asap.

checked the plugs the bottoms are all black like unburnt fuel? should i try cleaning them up or just replace them?

Could be your 02 sensor also....had similar symptoms in my last cb and the o2 was the culprit.

wouldnt a bad O2 sensor trigger a CEL? ill probably replace these things cause the plugs need a changing. symptom is the same still nothing it will drive just cant be jerky with the on and off throttle thing cause it dies if it happens. i want to adjust the throttle so its higher but 750 rpm is stock idle for a 99 auto.

mine does that a lot but it doesnt stall. it just kinda bounces around then goes back to normal. have you checked the tps?

haven't checked the tps cause we didnt touch that at all unless an arm bumping it can cause that. i tried it again earlier and when you let off the gas it hits zero then comes up then shutters to around 650 rpm and shakes.
