I really need to get my laptop working again. The scrren will not light up. The power button lights up and so does the wifi and battery lights. Any ideas?

Does the laptop have a nVidia graphics card? If not, screen is gone out.Comment

yeah i am having the same problem with my dell lop top. what i do is go and start it in safe mode and do a system restore. but now i am having a few other problems like now i get 2 half screens and the back ground is blue.
but nvidia grafic card is a bitch. go to www.notebookreview.com and learn more. it seems dell sucks these daysare we there yet are we there yet are we there yet

Call Dell and make a stink. If you've found multiple pieces of evidence supporting your video card theory then take it to them and work it out. Not contacting them isn't going to help.
And the NVidia card is integrated (sorta) into the motherboard and if your screen is broke then you'll need a new MB. How long have you had the laptop for?Comment
