Doesn't seem to have the charm of Top Gear UK.

Adam Ferrara, have no idea why they went with that choice (not a fan of him at all).
Rutledge Wood, at least he has some credentials. I guess they need a fat guy to shove in cars...
Tanner Foust, the best choice and if I remember correctly was chosen for the first US Top Gear that was quickly aborted.

Not sure if I'll even watch it for the fact that it seems like it's missing the essential humor, bickering between the hosts (mainly that between Jeremy and Capt. Slow) that makes Top Gear what it is.

I'd give it one year...

Often times, "you can't beat the original"...and this rings true with the US version of Top Gear.

Same goes for Iron Chef...the American version has nothing on the Japanese version.

Same with some of the remakes of movies these days...originals are better IMO.

Ever watched the first few seasons of TG? Unwatchable now. NOTHING like the Top Gear youre used to. Like I said up top there, no, its not the Jeremy Clarkson Show that the current Top Gear is, but if you watch Top Gear because you have a passion for cars, Im sure youd enjoy this new show. What I saw in that clip is what I love about Top Gear the most- car guys fucking around and having a good time.

The US trailer looks OK, but I love the whitty humor of the British verson. I saw the episode where they made the "Hammerhead Eagle i-Thrust" electric car and it was hilarious.

I am almost willing to pay for satellite...JUST to get bbc america...JUST so I can watch the UK top gear...but thanks to high speed internet and tudou.com I can watch it
