    annoying internet issue

Ive got this annoying internet issue, where on some forums I go on it seems to freeze up. like on here. Id go to click edit or to post something & it the mouse pointer just get stuck on the loading symbol but nothing loads up. not the new post I made, nor the quick edit screen. also, on some other websites some other features dont work anymore. like for example, yahoo.com's popular news carousel. I click the next to see the next 4 news topics, & nothing. seems like theres more web sites affected out there as I surf the web. cant seem to figure out what PC settings can cause this

    Im using firefox btw

Kick firefox to the curb. Use Chrome.

Its a browser issue most likely maybe your browser has become glitched or corrupted.

I have more issues with Chrome than with Firefox.

Gus, try resetting your router, if you're using one. I have issues like that with my old-ass router myself. Everything slows down or freezes up, then won't load... I yank the plug for a few seconds on the router, plug it back in... and booom, everything is back as it should be.

Has it been a while since you have re-set/re-started your machine?

Mine will run like crap if I haven't let it boot updates in a while. (that occurs at restart)

                      That's very true too.
I usually just put up with it until it restarts itself...

seems like itll do it with any internet browser

                            ----------------------------------------------------------

btw I also just found that the scroll function on google maps doesnt work right. when I scroll on the map with the mouse wheel to zoom in/out, the map doesnt move. but all the road labels disappear. almost like the zoom function freezes. but if I click the zoom in/out button on the screen it works normally.

plus on bing maps, when I try to search for a address I get...
"The server is temporarily unavailable. Try again later."

is there some setting/program on the PC that controls all these...

Google added a bunch of customizable features to their maps... stuff like that can be turned on and off. It's pretty heavy, though, so if your computer isn't running right, it might have trouble working as it should.

Try running some antispyware and antivirus stuff. You might have some garbage running in the background that's slowing you down. Spybot Search and Destroy, and Malwarebyte's AntiMalware are great programs to use.
