Can I ask something? How come when it snows in the east, people panic and it's all over the national news like hell is freezing over? They do know it's winter right?

Only snow shots I have from this season are macros.

when i first moved to MD, 3 years ago they said it never snows.
that year we got 4", last year we got I think about 18"
this year we are projected more than that.

so to answer your question, it is because they do not know
how to drive in it!! I have never seen so many lame accidents.
And thats when the roads are clear.

^I dunno but I've lived here 23 years and I just don't understand. You should see the grocery store before a snow storm. It's like black friday all over again. Not to mention people drive like we're running away from a giant tsunami...which really causes more accidents than anything.

I was gunna take some snow pics this year but my car was already cleaned off.

You should see some videos from Seattle after they got hit with snow.

Cars sliding downhill bouncing off everything in their paths.

Cities like that shut down when they get half an inch.

I'm 26 years old. Ive spent 25 winters in Missouri. You coastal guys might get dumped on all at once but we get steady snow, ice and low temps. Not to mention just weird weather. Like today, right now, it's 10*F; feels like 0--BUT-- by this time next week, we're looking at highs in the upper 40s.

People here, for the most part, know how to drive and survive in the snow. You have the usual douchebag in his 4WD who thinks hes invincible but theyre everywhere. Most of the accidents I see arent from stupidity but just from things you cant control like sliding on ice or bumping into somebody. Every once in a while you'll run into this....





...but I think that's just in this town. Which is full of stupid college kids who come from all over. Everybody back home is used to it and knows how to drive in it. Hell, look at the people up North in the Dakotas, and like Wisconsin and shit. They drive on lakes and have drift stopper thingies. They know what theyre doing, lol.
