Question for Turbo equiped Accord Owners...

We are considering designing a replacement torque mount for turbo equiped CB7 Accords with a manual transmission. As you may know, the stock torque mount is in the way and has to be removed. So my question is, would the turbo equiped guys be interested in this product?

That doesn't sound like a bad idea but Honda has already done it.

If you use the 4th gen Prelude's front lower crossmember you can use it's torque mount and bracket that goes on the engine. Then you won't need to lose the bracket.

Maybe you could try to offer a kit along those lines? Or maybe a kit that uses the Accord crossmember with the Prelude torque mount.

    Just a suggestion.

P.S. I haven't ignored your PM I'm just super busy and out of town.

Well even though I dont own a turbo Accord nor a cb7 for the matter Id say yes it would actually appreciated. I saw Erics turbo vid and man the engine seemed like it wanted to jump out after shifting gears.

I think it would be ideal though

Thats kewl about the PM...I understand.....The kit would be a lot cheaper and less work than swapping the cross member snd such..

I am really interested. My friend and I are both going the turbo route on both of our accords. I know for a fact that I would buy one if reasonably priced, and he would buy one also probably; as with a few other turbo accord owners I am sure.

They will be priced around $50 or $60. The will be made out of 1/8" steel tubing and will feature a full Prothane Bushing for the pivot point...
