What is it as in what is the device, or what is the part of the song that it's doing? I believe that's a printer... or something similar, anyway. That was my favorite part!

I hear keyboard, though... that took away from the coolness of it, unless i'm mistaken.

that weird device playing music is a Scanner. electronics nerds know that if you modify the pulsing power signals that go to the motor of the device, you can get it go create different pitches. use a tuner and match out certain signals to certain pitches, and you can make the device "play music"... people do it with hard drives, floppy drives, scanners, printers. he added that in there, because apparently the whole setup was made using salvaged parts - the thing that is playing the cello is a bow attached to the guts of an inkjet printer. you CAN hear some sort of airy keyboard addition to the track though.

or the HP Scanner factory-installed easter egg!
