ATTENTION: SELF PITY THREAD. I HAVE TO SHARE THIS WITH SOMEONE BECAUSE I HAVE NO ONE ELSE TO TALK TO.

First off, you guys are pretty much the only friends or family i have. Ok, heres whats going on. I dont have a job and havent been able to get one. I have been trying for 2 months, applying EVERYWHERE. Second, a girl i have been talking to, i found out she has been like making fun of me with her friends saying that im pathetic and all that stuff. I really liked her too. Third, my car is a pile of ass. It needs SO much work, and i havent the money to get her going like she should be. Pretty much, my depression is kicking in HARD right now and i have no one else to talk to. Have a good one.

It's ok man, i've been out of work since last October. My mom said to just worry about finishing my college and get a degree in something.

I don't know if i could stand to be around a girl if i knew she was making fun of me behind my back. I'd kick her to the curb. Actually i haven't had a girlfriend since.... '06? boy it's been that long? damn...

hmm i can't even drive my accord. she sits in the garage right now waiting till i have more money to finish the ROH conversion that i somehow screwed up.

That sucks about the girl. That's pretty shitty of her to do... but hey, if she's that immature, you don't need her! Still stings, though. Best thing to do is let her go. Forget about it, and move on.

As for the job, I know how that is. Half my friends are either not working, struggling to get by on jobs that barely pay, or in fear of losing the job they have. Honestly though, there's ALWAYS something. Mow lawns, paint fences, do odd jobs, clean up jizz at your local adult bookstore. If you can't find a job in your comfort zone... start looking outside your comfort zone. Do shit that nobody else wants to do. Trust me, there won't be much competition for those jobs.

As for the car... you know where to find anything you need to fix it up Hell, make a "WTB" thread in the Classifieds for any parts you need. Let it be clear that you have little to no money to spend. People may have what you need and be willing to help out.

Damn sucks to be you bro just be yourself and ditch the broad she should be trying to help you not drag your name in the dirt. Especially to her friends it seems to me that she suffers from low-self esteem issues and needs a boost by talking down on people she should not be trying to look for others to boost her self confidence.

Honestly for a chick to deal with me im not just any ordinary dude to even speak to me is a privaledge. If your not worth my knowledge to share or to even speak to im not going to even waste my time. Perhaps your looking in the wrong spots try other jobs that noone would try to do like for starters okay what skills do you have,whats your educational backround lookin like?

Do you have a license are you certified in anything. Thats what you need to do see yourself like you are hiring yourself. Do you ask for an application looking proper,or properly sagging I hope its not sagging becuase if thats the case your app is goin in the garbage.

Anyone who is dumb enough to bring their "street style" to an interview, or even when applying to a job... they don't deserve the job.

I wear jeans with holes in them, small black undershirts as tshirts, and either a pair of beat up Chucks, or a pair of beat up Doc Martens. That's my normal everyday style. I also own 3 suits, 2 pair of dress shoes, and more shirts and ties than I can count. I also have "nice" jeans, polo shirts, casual button down shirts, etc... for situations that call for something nicer than my usual style, but not as dressy as a suit or shirt and tie.

When I go for a job interview, I'm interviewing THEM.



1993 CB7 LX, have you looked into foodservice? Cooking, serving, hell... even bussing tables... You can make decent money doing that, especially if you find the right place to work. I managed to finish my last 2 years of college while paying a mortgage (and modify the CB... wheels, paint, HIDs, suspension...) on part-time waiter hours at a really shitty Bennigan's. I wasn't making a whole lot of money, but it was enough. The job SUCKS, but it's decent, flexible, and waiter jobs aren't hard to get, even with no experience. An added benefit is that you'll be working with a LOT of girls... enough to make you forget all about that immature piece you had recently.
The Northeastern part of the country is the best place to be a waiter... we get the best tips. Down south, or out west... notoriously bad for tipping, for some reason. (Cali might be good... I'd think so, but I don't know.)

Plenty of places for a job around. Check craigslist, local papers, etc. Just do something. What weere you doing before you didn't have a job? Education background?

As for the cb, post in wtb section for stuff you need. We still need to meet up so I can grab the dome light and window switch panel from you. Find a way to get on the kanc cruise too. Details in northeast section. Should be a fun time. Will be great time hangout with people. Friends, cb enthusiasts.
