    I'm Finally Purchasing a CB7!!!!

Man I've been waiting forever! But I'm on the Amtrak
Right now, on my way from PA to NC. I have a 6 hour ride, but I'm excited to
Return to the cb world. Wish me luck!

No, I sold that a few months back. I liked it,
but the cb7 is my one and only love. I'm going to
Rocky Mount, NC, and this is my first time on a train.

Tell me about it. I made a 23 hour, 1000km trip to go get my SE back. It was a trip of epic proportions, problems and awesomeness all in one.

              Well...

What a waste of time, and $600 + dollars. So I got their and it was
a tottally different car. He sent me pictures of either someone else's car,
or it has to be when he first bought the thing. I get off the train,
and from a distance I was all excited. I seen tire shine and it looks pretty
clean. I get up to it and the first thing I see is the passenger door looked
like someone was trying to use a pry bar on the bottom to lift the door up.
As soon as I seen that, I said to myself "HERE WE GO..." So I asked him, "what's up with the door man ? " He said " well, I bought it like that. "
I specifically asked him to show me pictures, and explain the body to me in detail. He described the car to be in mint condition, with no rust, no scratches, and everything in tip top shape. That is the only reason why I took this trip. I assumed I was going to get a tip top shape, body in awesome condition car.

What a joke, and unfortunately I was the one being laughed at. I started looking around the car, and notice the back bumper has black spots all over it. Being where the paint came off. I started feeling the car up. As I was doing that, the car's paint started rubbing off on my hand. I'm like "WTF ! "
He says on don't worry about that, that's just wax. This car was not what he pictured. The car in the picture was factory, had the amber bumper lights, and taillights. When I got their this things had spray painted black corners, taillights and bumper lights. ABS light was on, back windows didn't go up or down. He said it had a brand new aem intake system that looked like it got ran over a dozen times.

So I passed on the car. DUH ! I was not about to try to drive that piece of shit 7 hours home. So I waited at the train station from 2pm. until 2 in the morning to take the next available train back north to PA.

I WILL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN. IF THE CAR ISN'T CLOSE, THEN IT WASN'T MEANT TO BE.

I think craigslist should have a monthly fee for selling items. That I think, would iliminate that jokers that are selling junk.

Wow.... I want to say that was your fault.

Before ever traveling that far -- you better make sure the seller is giving you ALL the details of that car. Ask for close up pics and everything. Ask about noises, leaks, cracks, condition etc. Then let him know you are serious and willing to pay $xxx based on X and Y. Then if something was fudged by the seller or not what you both communicated, then it's time to negotiate some more.

That must've been one sexy stock photo.
