Well i just got home from Pittsburgh, just drove the 4 hours straight. It was snowing like crazy for the first two hours but wasn't laying one bit. So up ahead on the road while i was on the turnpike i saw a huge salting truck, figured people were passing him so i had to too.

This truck was going atleast 70mph, flinging salt in the air and everywhere, i tried to get by fast, but it felt like pure hail nailing my car, i thought for sure my glass headlights would crack or something, but nothing luckily. Im lucky i put my car bra on before i left.

i would of thought they wouldn't fling salt into cars windows and stuff, but i guess not. Luckily i had no damage

I am in close to 3000 feet in altitude And yes it gets very cold down here last jan it was -10 f and we get lots of snow to but i see how you would think it dosnt snow here I was like wtf? Is was looking foraward to and nice warm winter (after live in the GA mountains for all my life) but noooooooo. And lots of hail even in the summer time when its 95 f

I cringe every time I have to pass a salt truck. Normally, I'll just go slow behind it, away from the hail of salt. They usually only hit me when they pass going the opposite direction on a 2 lane road. New paint + flying salt = unhappy deev!
