Had a guy come into the dealership the other day saying he had oil crossover between his engine oil and transmission fluid. The tech thinks he pulled a crank case plug thinking it was the engine oil drain. (On a late model Harley touring bike, the engine oil drain is on the front of the transmission pan, not on the crank case.) I tend to agree with the tech, I seemed to remember seeing some type of bulletin on it, so I decided to do a search on our dealer net website. I did a search for "case plug" and what to my wondering eyes did appear at the bottom of the page?
