    Aww yeah

Well, it's tax time. I was expecting to be owing money this year, but my aunt, who is also my family's accountant, just informed me that I'm getting a return of $1235 this year.

This is fantastic news, considering I only got about $140 last year, and at this point in time, this $1235 is really going to help pay off some of my bills.

No toys for me. Free money to play catch up with. I'm actually quite stoked, because it's going to take a huge burden off me, so I'm feeling quite relieved.

That $1200 is going to go a long way to get me out of the hole.

I plan to put $1000 of it towards my debts, and the remaining $235 will be purchasing a new windshield ($247 installed) for the CB, since mine is badly cracked.

Been a while since I've had some good news like this.

Gotta keep caught up on the bills. I'm at the lowest paying job I've had in 4 years. My rent is what's hurting my budget at $600/mo.

I net about $1895/mo right now at $13/hr for 44 hours a week.

I was recently at $15-18/hr jobs the last couple years, so things are pretty tight right now. I literally cannot survive on any less than I'm making.

My credit card is hovering right around the maxed out mark, but I'm continually making payments, so a big chunk of the money is going towards that. Then I just have some other outstanding debts to clear up, which the rest of the money will go towards.

I'm hoping for a raise at work in 3 more months at mt 6 month mark. I just had my 3 months on March 19, but 3 weeks into my job my boss gave me a $1 raise and told me he was keeping me, so I got my 3 months at my 3 weeks lol.

I love my job, so even though the pay isn't the best right now, my job keeps me sane and I enjoy putting the effort in, so it doesn't feel so much like work.

      Pretty much sums me up

sounds rought bro. I think you made an earlier thread about making money on the side..you should go through with that. Any money made on the side helps with other bills. or get another job part time. i got something on the side that helps with my gas money. its not much but 20 bux a week equals almost 100 a month and thats 1200 a year. doesnt sound like much at first but you probably already know that. A little goes along way.

Yup. It goes a long way. I don't have the energy to work a second job during the week. Hell, half the time, I come home from work exhausted and pass out by 7pm lol.

Yeah this is Canada. The $200+ mark is cheap for a windshield.

We had one replaced in a brand new Mitsubishi RVR (Outlander Sport) and it was like $1100.

i work two jobs, 6 days a week and one of my bosses sometimes pays for my lunch. it kind of adds up but it's nice when i don't have to count on forking money for lunch twice a week until i spend 10 dollars on a lunch on the other days,
