Yea the rust thing is big, Jarrett likes to hound me about mine lol but I haven't seen any Honda model and most any other model around here older than 96-97 without rust. I see them at car shows but other than that everything on the street has rust. I live close to Chicago so anyone from the area on here knows what I'm talking about.
That and since I've only seen 1 89 or older accord in my area before, this thing def stands out as near perfect. I mean if you can pick apart flaws from the pictures go ahead. It's all stock except for the lowering springs, tractor exhaust and wheels. Regardless this automatic non rust accord is well worth getting.

If I had that option neither of my cb's would have rustOriginally posted by 408cb7 View PostThat thing is no where near mint condition, I've seen 3rd gen accords that look brand new, not even a scratch on the bumpers.
If your looking for a rust free car come to Cali, a car like that one can be purchased for cheap and they are everywhere.

Looks like an LX, not an LXi... which means you've got a carb on that thing.
The aftermarket for 3rd gens is pathetic compared to the CB (which isn't all that great itself!) They're awesome cars, but not a lot of potential anymore without serious dedication and creativity. Those that really get creative with them have some pretty amazing cars to show for it... but they're few and far between.

It says lx deev 8) I just used a bunch of exclamation points. Yes it's carbed but I wanted it to just cruise it or maybe swap it since it's would be my project.Originally posted by deevergote View PostLooks like an LX, not an LXi... which means you've got a carb on that thing.

My buddy had one for about five years. The aftermarket is too limited. I bet those are cut factory springs even. I do know that the carbed four banger is like 90 HP. You might not even consider calling it cruising its so slow. If you are gonna do it at least try to get some money out of him, it is worth less than a cb after all.......father in law has it back again. Time to shine

It's more than just how much hp it has or if it's Carb/fuel injected to me. Im an enthusiast and have had 34 cars now, it's about owning it, having a piece of Honda history and getting to just drive and enjoy it. The car will only receive minor exterior changes and I will just cruise under the speed limit everywhere I go. Put some Honda wheels on it like cl meshies and be done. I just want to enjoy the car until it's time to part with it and move on to something else 8)Originally posted by cb7 calling View PostMy buddy had one for about five years. You could've bought a really nice car after 34 cars. If rust is your main concern maybe used that money from xamount of cars to living in a place where maybe doesn't have crazy rust or buy a car from a state with no rust. I too know how to go through cars but my cb9 is a great daily compared to my evo or lexus. Really bad downgrade on this one.Beast: Evo X
Daily: 93 Accord LX Wagon
