I was thinking you should minimize the engine swap thread (especially for the H22s) with updated images and links to places for harnesses and ECU management.

Since the K swap is new maybe someone who has done one can give some insight on how to do it...although I doubt anyone would want to take time to do a write up.

Bigger one would be the 5 lug swap. I see a lot of the new guys tend to post multiple threads on that subject a lot so I'd centralize everything..dig up the older posts and delete them to clear up the clutter a bit. From what I remember BustedLX did one years back and it had photos but it looks like the links are no longer working.

I believe he’s working on it. I need to get my computer working again so I can get things organized. It’s damn near impossible to do it from my phone!

Verification is required, but bots are so advanced now that it’s tough to prevent them from getting in. They rarely post, fortunately.

Isnt Maury updating the DIY section using CPs server to rehost the images? Ive been noticing every other 'new' member is a bot of some sort. Does the site require you to verify yourself beforehand?

We had that feature here. Lost it in a crash. The member that had the know-how to do it disappeared. I’d break the forum if I tried to implement that.

This place needs a software upgrade. For example, I upload my photos to Imgur at full size (6000x4000). When I post the links here they are shown full size. Every other forum I'm on automatically resizes them.

Did not notice it before cause I do not internet well. I thought it was a good idea. I thought it was a great idea .Then I read my post more, sounds mean and ignorant because of they way I said it and I'm less confident it would work.

You do know there is a tab at the very top right below the advertisement banner that says "New Posts" right? That way it shows you all new threads, posts that occurred since the last time you logged in.

Dead thread yup! But seriously this site should be five sections by now.
    1. Cb7
    2. Cb7 performance
    3. Other hondas
    4. Other vehicles
    5. Off topic
We have a great collection of minds and existing information. I have been lurking this site since the beginning until now. I have spent time posting and watching like many others. The cb is old. This site reflects that too much when it takes me 30 mins just to find all the new post. I don't even ever find all of them, sometimes I check other automotive to see really cool stuff happening. I think less could be more at this time.

Thats what i said. There really is a whole lot of stupid on that page and most dont care if the answer they get is right or not.

I didn't get a chance to go through every post, but I did read the first few.

I would love to be involved, it's just work and life has made me become a drop by a few times a week member. With that being said, I am kind of out of the loop.

Hopefully, this July when my CB is back up and running, I can contribute much more and become active again. I still have tons of love for this community.

It causes so much headache. I would be down to help out where I can over on Fb. Whatever needs done, im down.

I think giving a months notice is fine, you don't have to post here, but you should at least register. Then down the road, if they contribute nothing here and mouth off over there, just boot them.
    YES YES YES.

I don't believe it would be alienating so much as promoting forum membership. My plan was to pin a post for a month and then start "The Purge". At that point any person who doesn't want to be a forum member is just personally choosing not to be an active contributor to this community as a whole.

To be honest, there are a lot of people in there that I think would choose the latter and we would be better for it as they are of very little character. The more "free reign" we allow on the FB group the more "damage" we cause to the forum. I'm for picking the lesser of two evils.
