what's CB7 stand for?

CB7 is the chassis code for the 4th generation Accord (90-93).

just like F22 is the engine code for CB7's

ALSO: CB9 is the USDM wagon chassis code, and CB3 is the non-USDM 4th gen. chassis code. a few other non-USDM codes are listed in below posts.

I ve got the CB3................................ so there are more codes fo the 4th gen (like CB8 for the wagon)

yeah, i forgot to re-add the CB3. we had posted that the CB3 was the non-USDM 4th gen a while back, but a problem with the database wiped out the posts.

also, i thought that CB9 was the wagon chassis code. is CB8 the non-USDM wagon chassis code or somethin?

As Dutchaccord, I also have the CB3. i think this is the complete list of Hondas CB serie chassis, with engine-code:

CB1 : F18A
CB2: F18A (4ws)

CB3: F20A
CB4: F20A (4ws)

CB5: G20A ( accord inspire, Vigor )
CB6: F20A (Coupe)
CB7: F22A (sedan)
CB8: F22A (Aerodeck)
CB9: F22A (accord wagon)

nice info jumbo. however, the CB7 is also the chassis code for the F22A coupe as well.

i realize that there are many other chassis codes for different versions of the 4th generation accord. the reason i named the website cb7tuner, was simply because it applies to the general population of CB owners in the US. i figured most of our members would be from the United States. and if they're not... that's what this thread is for

Okay, what's the difference between the EDM Aerodeck and the JDM/USDM Wagon? And damn I want a donor CB2 or CB4 so I can add 4WS to the wagon... be able to turn....

hah yeah the i got the wagon and it has the ugliest turn radius...i look like a fool when trying to bust u-turns any other car can make...im surprised my dad's tacoma has way better turn radius

I was going to ask this very question, then I though it mught be the code, so I checked my VIN and sure enough it has CB7 in it so then I came here and found this thread.

but are those different CB has very minor chassis different ? or is it all the same .. ofcourse exeptional for vigor, wagon and coupe chassis

what the different between CB3, CB4, and CB7 beside the engine and 4WS?

and our car is a unibody or body on chassis?

does anyone know anything about the 4WD wagon that was released in Japan? engine? horsepower? where can i find one, even in pieces? if honda tuning can make a 4WD Integra, then there has got to be a way to make a 4WD CB7!
