If your girlfriend or someone you know is thinking about getting on the birthcontrol shot, i highly suggest going against it. My girlfriend has been on it for little over a year, and for the past 5-6 months we've had problems having sex(to be blunt) it's very painful, and her sexdrive is all but diminished. Recently she went to the doctor to find out what was wrong, turns out the shot decrease her progestrin, or someshit, some hormone she needs. and it's causing cells in her cooch to be sore during intercourse, so she cant have sex, and it also causes a big loss in sexual appetite. she never wants sex, or anything like it. so she stopping now, only problem is she just got the shot a few weeks ago, so we got 3 months to wait before the problems HOPEFULLY get better. and i need to get laid!
