    well, it lives again...

Got the Accord running again this weekend, the Injector Resistor box was blown out. Were driving down the road, and i punched it. It shifted into 2nd and destroyed the inner knuckle on the drivers side half shaft, which, in turn, tore apart my drives side ball joint. The wheel shot out sideways. Fun stuff... Well, at least its running again, i picked up a new half shaft, and ball joint, im going to replace them this week.

Man, driving my car for the 3 minutes that i got to drive it for got me excited about it again.

I also pulled out everything out of my trunk and rear seats this weekend too. Gonna strip as much out of the car as i can (aside from the stereo, cant drive w/o music, it drives me crazy!)

Thanks guys, well, since i sold most my JDM stuff, im not going to go that route. Im just going to strip out the interior, and have it a street driven "race" car. Im gonna go for broke, were going to piece together a half cage for the rear, and weld the rear doors shut. Dont need em anymore since nobody can sit there!

But yeah, im going to remove the entire lower control arm assembly, because at this point, i have no way of bracing the axel so i can remove the nut. Im going to have to take it somewhere and have them impact the bolt off, and remove the arm that holds the ball joint, so i can have that pressed in. I should have the car up and running by friday! Then, on to diagnosing the VTEC...

            YAY!

i would have hated it if it had ended up selling for a measly $500 on ebay

Does that mean everyone has to give thier JDM stuff back?

Glad to hear it's running... sorry to hear about the ball joint and stuff. At least you know the problem this time, so you can fix it and be back on the road!
