I'm an IT/MIS manager for a contract support consultant company, serving about 30 clients in NYC and northern/central New Jersey. Been working this for about 2 1/2 years now. I was a AT, avionics tech. I made it to second class, but decided not to re-up. I have a family so being gone for 6 months at a time is a big deal. It's fun though, ill give it that. I would have stayed in if I didn't have 2 boys and a wife. Make sure you get to australia, good times.

THe canadian navy has it good.Dude if you can get into the canadian navy that would be off the hook. those guys can drink on the boat and shit. I talked to a couple cats in the canadian navy out in victoria B.C. and they said the canadian navy was the best deal ever, great ports, good pay, people in your service are cool as hell.

haha crayola-r when you do make it pass all that phase pm me i can tell you how boot camp and watever you want to know so far i just got out of bootcamp and went straight to corpsman school... good experience so far cant wait to go out to the fleet doe

oh almost forgot, everything you learned in bootcamp you will forget in about 2 months. The fleet is so laid back dude, it's like a regular job. I remember when I went through bootcamp in 99 lmao, they tried to put in are head that the shit was all tuff and all about rank,psssss. Even the first classes don't give a shit. We actually threw are LPO in a dumpster when we got drunk in Jaba Ali (Funny Shit). As long as you do your job everyone is cool. Watch out for the girls with the fupa if you go on the boat though, cause they know 3 months out to sea and you gonna want to hit it.

man, ya^ sound really serious...! i have a couple of friends in the marines and my brothers' in the army, they all talk about it like its the greatest shit. the air force is trying to recruit me they are offering me a job as air craft tech.$45/hr. supposedly i scored a 61 on the asvap(sp?) test. so they're like " ohh, u qualify for such and such job, i can guarantee u this and that"..., i still dunno if ima join and if i do which branch, cuz freakin' every one wants to recruit me .
