my "first" job was making ghetto short rams for cars. We were gonna expand into axle back exhausts but it was too much of a pain. we made a couple of short rams though, made some money having some fun. good times

Not trying to be an ass or start a fight but I've never, even in high school, stooped enough to have to work fast food.

Isn't there a Walmart, Target, or grocery store near you that's hiring?

my very first job was a mc donalds. i started when i was 15 makin sandwiches and shit like that. i had alot of my friends workin wit me, so it was mad fun. tha only thing i didnt like was when i turned 16 they put me on tha grill. when that shit happened, my face broke out (pimples) from all tha grease and shit. so i would never do it again. plus i alwayz busted my ass for only 6 something an hour.

        goodluck.

At McDonalds, you get raises very quickly.. MRX's little sister worked there before she moved, and by her 6-7th month, she was making like.. a dollar over starting.

Whats the starting rate at McD's these days? $6.00/hr?

You'd probably make more money delivering pizzas.

I was raised to have high standards, and after seeing a lot of what I would call 'drity' fast food establishments growing up, I feel that it is beneath me to work at one. I have a bad enough time simply going thru the drivethru, let alone setting foot in one, regardless of how clean the establishment in question may be.

whoever made the comment about working at some other walmart, grocery store.. don't u think i've done all of that.. thats why mcdonalds is my last resorts.. nothing around here is available plus being your 1st job.. no place would hire you if u have no resume.. like me.. atleast if i put it down on my resume that i worked at mcdondals.. then i'll have experience to work at any other store that deals wit cashiers and whatnot.. no jobs here will hire you if u don't have experience with customer service.. retail and sales..

Its assclowns that Trys to clown and always the one unsucessful in life.. the one that be in the corners walking barefooted..

Atleast i'm making something every week instead of being online and bugging the crap outta people on AIM messenger when they signed on..

To whomever that said it'll tell 20years to customize my car.. wow 2 paycheccks can get me some goodies for my car.. like HID lights.. clear corners.. headunit.. all that crap.. i'll be saving plus i do get money from the state cause my father is retired so that will help a bit.. plus i'm not going to go put expensive 400.00 shocks on the car.. just looking for quality stuff and what not..

But expect my car to be tricked out..

anyone else want to add or comment working @ mcdonalds. or what was involved..

                Thanks

Then you're apparently not trying or following up on applications you've put in at different locaitons. If you're calling them on a regular basis such as every few days to touch base with the store's HR, it shows that you're interested in the job. Grocery stores, Targer, Walmart, department store, stuff like that are starting points for people looking for their 1st job. Go walk thru a Walmart at 6 at night. See all the high school kids at the registers and walking the floor? How do you think they got hired- because they have a masters degree? No! They were persistant in calling HR to see what the status of their application. It doesn't just work at Walmart, any job it works the same.

"don't u think i've done all of that.. " you said. If you don't say it we won't know.
