hey guys.. im just wonderin..say im doing money order to send the cash to a person .. how does it work? kuz there are lots of ppl who get scammed and whatnot for money...and im just seeing how safe itd be.. im sure im sending the money first to him then hes shipping it out... and i think itd be all about trust.. and would there be a way that the things are tracked? or is it all about trust lol...
what this is about,is that im buying tailights off gutterslide, anyone know him? ne feedbacks? vouches? kuz this would pretty much be the first time buying sumthing online.. other then if they lived around me and we meet up..

if u guys can help... or relieve me of my worries somehow.. that would be great

i would look into paypal, that way you can file a complaint if they don't send your item. if you're doing a money order, i would get it through the post office and get tracking on the envelope that way you know they received it and they had to sign forit.

as for the money order, the USPS ones you can call the number and they can tell you if it's been cashed or not.

ohhh post office sounds great .. but that still wouldnt mean that hes gonna send it haha.. damn.. he could sign for it and just run off.. only thing he cant do is say he never got it and stuff.. but still.. made my worries ease a tad bit

USPS postal money orders can be traced and if they are cashed they will replace your money and file federal fraud charges against the person you sent it to.

if you got screwed even with USPS you didn't try. I got my money back on a USPS money order before. You just have to file a claim and with them not having a shipping/tracking number they are screwed.

I usually ask them for their name, phone number, Any other Screen names they use/boards they are active on. Where they work and see how many posts they have. I make it very easy to track them down if I need too. On a very expensive purchase I probably wouldn't do a money order or anything. Also ask if they have an eBay name so you can see their feedback rating

lol yea.. well ppl online are mostly ppl u wont meet.. either too far away.. or they are just so damn fat and ugly u see him and run,then just say u werent there.. lol jokes.. *worth a shot trying to be funny*... but ne wais..yea.. usps sounds good BUT IM IN CANADA!.. hopefully our post office would do the same thing.. but i guess its all about trust...

anyways even paypal will fuck you over! mother fuckers, best thing to do is! use papyl WITH a credit card, that way if you get scammed you can file a claim with your credit card, and they will pull the money from their account even if they have none. happened to me, sold something to some one who got their account stolen and they filed a claim with their CCC and they took 700 dollars i didnt have out of my paypal account.. fuckers

Another good thing to do is only buy local. I guess that's probably easier for me to say, since so many cb7tuners are within driving distance from me... Still, if you exchange cash and items in person, no one gets screwed. If someone is shady, you kick their ass in person!

yep, i got fucked over on a $200 item and i paid the $3 for the form to fill out and i got my money back 40 days later.
