getting new phones???

I have verizon now and my contract is going to end in a couple months. I have been thinking of switching to a new carrier like cincular. I was also thinking about getting possibly the sidekick. I use text alot sometimes more then the acutal phone. Well i looked at T-mobile and it says you can get just a text, IM, web setup for the sidekick. So I am thinking of getting that and keeping my verizon just for the phone? I don't know what to do cause to me it seems that there are many different options.

any opinions would help?

My Sprint expires in 20 days, and I'm getting Cingular. I get a discount on every phone company through my work, and Cingular has the best plans with the most options.

I hate new Sprint plans, and we get all the reviews at work. I was getting Nextel, but I changed to Cingular because of the awesome plans they have compared to the others such as Sprint and T-Mobile.. and Verizon.

All i know is that nextel sucks. My work cell is a nextel, and it'll lose service in random areas. Its one of the i530 yellow ones. I cant stand it, gotta reset it sometimes just so it'll recieve calls.

MetroPCS also blows, it has worse service than nextel.

I have sprint, and sometimes when you are talking it gets a little blotchy, but havent dropped a call before, except when driving through the mountains in KY and TN for a few minutes.

hey guys thanks for the quick replys....Well I love verizon i think they are great they are the only comany I have ever had but my service has always been great only a few times it sucks but that is like for text but the phone is always great. They just don't have great text plans and web plans. I am looking for something different a bit of a change and having 2 phones would kinda suck so I am just trying to do something. I want a phone and a servie that has it all

cingular is pretty cool the m2m and rollover is the big seller. IF you are gonna go cingular i would wait a month or so we are about to push out some new phones. If you got any questions about cingular I'll be happy to answer them for you espically since i work there

yes, please do tell about these new phones. i have sprint and my contract ends july 2nd, and im going to switch to cingular... for some reason only cingular and verizon can get service in my house... the most i ever get currently is 1bar, and that gets dropped alot.

i want to get either the razr or the samsung p777... but what else do you guys have coming out? im not an option whore, i would actually prefer a smaller phone... i dont need anything with a keyboard or anything like that. its just a phone and thats all i need it for. but i do need a camera, cant take ass pics without one

the razr is now 199.99 with two year conract. Nokia has some great new phones comming out that u can see at ww.nokia.com.. also sony ericcson is launcing a new line of phones as well. Most of the phones that will be launched are still in testing with our company so no official word of what we'll be getting yet. I'll let u know as soon as I do though.

Yea i am still debating about everything because the sidekick 2 sounds good and very usefull for me because it has a lot of the features I like to use. I hear T-Mobile had one of the worst reception around. I am going to go look at the blackberry or the Palm treo with verizon. Cigular sound great too and they have some sick phones

im an avid AIM person..dont text much now that i have a sidekick..and i love mine.
tmobile is B-..i would rate them lower..but i just got a replacement phone supre quick..and the price is good.. customization ZILCH..service average..cool factor (if you are into that) im known on campus in arkansas cause im one of two people with the phone..

if you really want to consider the SK2 check out www.hiptop.com its a forum for all Sk2, hiptop2..etc users.. from what ive read..(might be outdated) service in vegas and SD is BAD..signal drops in areas that are rated to be the best signal...there is also the recent hack on tmobile and Danger servers..so like any computer dont send vital information through emails or text or IMs..

even though i use my sk2 like a third lung its still not the best phone out there... the ease of doing daily activities on it helps out though..checking emails that are sent straight to your phone, AIM, calander that is even better than my hardcopy dayplanner..argh..just so iffy on the sidekick lately

well guys, fuck sprint, cingular for life!!!!!

the reception is great. i used to have trouble keeping 1bar, now i have a hard time dropping below 3. and i got the razr for $100, with a year contract. pays to have friends who work there.

the phone is definetly not as option filled as alot out today, but i dont want a mini computer... i just wanna make calls and take a few pics. and the speaker is of better quality than my sayno 8200... clear calls, and the mp3 ringers sound great too.
